There are currently about 4000 homes for sale in Baton Rouge and surrounding areas. Our Baton Rouge real estate market seems to be holding it's own and fairly stable. The home sales are about the same that they were a year ago. If you want to buy a foreclosure, bank owned property, or short sale this is a very good time to do so. Even though our real estate market is not like many others around the US there a lot of good deals out there.
